From experience we know that DJ's are expected to play a mixture of styles. As such we are not hip-hop, club, oldies, metal, disco, Top-40 or any other label when it comes to presentation unless the theme of a particular event calls for a specific format.When comparing DJ services you may notice very similar song lists. The Top 200 is a compilation of the broad spectrum of music that mobile DJs agree are their most requested songs,or selections needed to produce a successful event. This makes up the core music played at just about every wedding reception.
Your idea of 'good' music may include some, but not all of these songs. At Jock In A Box we'll make every effort to respond to GUEST requests; after all, that's the best survey you can do!
Our music is supplied by Top
Hits U.S.A. a weekly music service for radio, and mobile
DJ's. Top Hits U.S.A. provides programming consultation to radio,
cable and satellite stations. This provides us with radio edits of
songs that do not contain explicit lyrics. Or, you may bring in your
favorite music from home.
Bottom line: if it's on the radio we have it!
